They aren't at the top. In fact, they get beaten up pretty regularly by Cena/Batista/Shane/Vince/whomever. They just happen to be in a faction with Orton because they are all multi-generation stars. I don't really see them shooting up to the main event any time soon.

Even so, that is how the business works. People like Orton get a foot in the door because their family has been in the business. Hey, remember the Rock? Think he would have lasted when the fans started booing him out of buildings if he wasn't connected to somebody? This isn't a new phenomenon. Don't blame Cody Rhodes or Ted DiBiase for it.
