While I don't think that it will warrant a suspension, this is two blatant "flagrant fouls" that were not called on Jones. I don't want a suspension, I do want the NBA to say "while this is playoff basketball, we won't allow the game to get out of hand". The game degraded into a blacktop event in the fourth because the refs were so off their game tonight. It's not an excuse for the Lakers, as the Nuggets simply crashed boards better. A ton of those rebounds could have been "tickey takey" over the back calls that shouldn't be called, but when you add blatant "miss calls" it just seems to take away from win, regardless of the victor. Bryant didn't get many "regular" calls, Bynum got a silly flagrant towards the end that was absolutely the result of the refs prejudging a situation. Had the refs called real fouls towards the beggining of the game, tempers may have not flared on both sides, as it was a situation of "what can we get away with" in the end (mostly by the Nuggets imo)
Credit where it's due, I thought the Nuggets would win, but I wish it was "clean".
I love quotation marks
