No, if Australia loses the Ashes we aren't going to pretend to not care about Test cricket. Can't you remember 2005 or something?

Losing 2005 was one of the darkest days in Australian cricket. If we lose the Ashes this time it won't be QUITE as bad but it would still be terrible.
