Oh well. We came close, but for some reason Detroit just couldn't dig down deep and actually show up to play tonight. I take little solace in that "maybe next year" crap either right now...just feel like the Wings totally wasted this season.

Although, I must say there was quite a few exciting "opportunities" on goal for Detroit but that's not good enough when you're not scoring on some of them. I started whoopin' and hollerin' when the puck hit the top crossbar like, "YESSS!!!", but quickly got depressed again when I realized Detroit had not scored.
