Turns out Johan has been pitching with a blister on his middle finger...to which I say thank God there's a reason he's not been good lately, and simply dreadful yesterday. His ERA ballooned almost a full run yesterday.

Damn depressing series though. Friday's loss was one of the few instances where it is 100% the fault of one guy. Everything that happened before meant nothing when the ball is in your goddamn glove. Fucking Castillo. Fuck-ups like Castillo's drop and Church missing 3rd base will define the Mets' 2009 season.
