The Wildcat requires a special form of athlete. I can see it being used in part, like you've mentioned, but as a staple, hardly so. I know you're not suggesting it, just saying thats how I see it.

If anything, it could force teams to draft speedier defenders better at making plays in space. The NFL is definitely cyclical and this may just be the next part of the cycle.
