So I dunno. I'm a little bit mixed here. On the one hand, I think the ratings system's pretty pointless if kids can get their hands on M games anyways (Though most places around here voluntarily won't sell to anyone under either 18, 17, or 16...).

On the other hand, I don't like the idea of a group of people telling me what is or isn't acceptable for my kids anyways, because their values and mine are likely not going to mesh. I think our ratings system is a little bass ackwards, favoring murder over sex. As a result, I have trouble really approving of a subjective ratings system being made into law.
