Hardy hit the Swanton and got the three but Punk's foot was under the rope. Ref restarted the match, Punk went for the GTS, but Hardy elbowed his way out. Punk sold the eye and the ref stepped in to check on him. When the ref stepped away Punk threw a roundhouse to the body and hit the ref in the back, earning him the DQ.
