I think WWE Diva's matches have made a lot of progress in the last ten years. We don't have women in bra and panties, we have women that can actually wrestle (for the most part), and we have matches on a regular basis. None of these things happened ten or even five years ago. The notion of using women as sexual objects to sell tickets is pretty deeply ingrained in the minds of the mainstream wrestling fan. Undoing that thought process is going to take a lot more years of Trish Stratuses before people stop seeing it as the piss break match.
