Steiner is about as eloquent as Goldberg. He has never, ever gotten over due to his mic work. Early in his career, it was due to his raw athleticism. Post-mullet, it was due to his look. Steiner just can't speak well enough, or has enough of a cerebral demeanor, to be seen as a manager.
Did you see that Raw where he and Nowinski had that debate? Did anything on that show give you any hint that he could make a career specializing in talking?
