Submissions and TKOs have a long animation where the ref steps in to stop it, so they disconnect during that and the ranked match is thrown out. Ranked matches record your win/loss record and it affects all the online achievements, so people pussy out all the time. Don't fight anyone with a perfect record before this patch is out.
The weird thing is, the 3 descriptive phrases you get still update even after a disconnect, so even though all my submission victories (80 submission destroying a 115 sub defence, what what
) don't count, my phrase changed from "good ground game" to "excellent submission"
