That's very true. I think the way in which both of those scenes were done was well crafted.
The scene where Anakin becomes Darth Vader is essentially the same scene as when Vader reverts back to Anakin. It's just reversed.

Anakin stands as a third party, watching a struggle between good and evil. It's even the same scenery, with one person on the ground and the other standing, and him looking back and forth deciding with the reflection of the lightning on his face.
He gets to make the same decision twice, and the second time he gets it right.
