This isn't a fucking sport. This isn't a competition. There is no sponsorship, or merchandising, or fiscal situations occuring at all.
Posting at a forum is not akin to legit sports, no matter how you try and find justification to this 'analergy'.
Nobody wants the videos in here as soon as the fights are over. They either have seen the fights live, or know where to look to see them. They are never posted that soon after a show. The vids have dates and times next to them when they are posted on the other popular, well known forums that they always appear on. You can see it is usually 4-5 hours post show.
We want to come online and talk about the fights. as they happen, after they happen. When it is on our minds and at the forefront of what we wanna talk about. This is the MMA discussion forum, not the MMA bullshit stats world, or the MMA video archive. It's a discussion forum. And you lambast someone for posting in a thread about a fight after a fight.
Tell me this, was Rob to wait for you to post in this thread, declaring that you, or better still, waiting until everybody has PM replied to you asking whether all the regs here had seen the fight before this particular discussion continued?
Nobody opened a thread declaring anything regarding the outcome of the show, or in any other thread for that matter.
You dissapear for months and everything is cool, you are back and 'moderating' for like, a week and laughable bullshit becomes the talking point.
I don't give a fuck if you are a mod in this forum. It was better without you. So why not take your rules, and moderate someone elses forum. This is about the posters, not the moderators.
