The same can't really be said for Goldust. Yes, his ringwork is the best it's been in a long time. But all they've got to go on is "newly aggressive Goldust." There's no real payoff past that. I wouldn't say he deserves a thank you run. I could buy him as a legit challenger to the title, but only to put over a new guy.

"Newly aggressive"? How about three-time Intercontinental Champion? HOw about pointing out that his history with the company hasn't been stellar, but that he's never given up his quest? I'm not saying it's equatable to Dreamer, but they've both been used as jobbers, and they're both adored by fans regardless of their undesirable career paths.
