You're right there's a lot of promise.

The Lithgow stuff is intriguing already, seems like Dexter's got his hands full.

Him having a child adds a whole new natural and awesome element to the show.

I also wanted him to punch Quin in the face very hard. Perhaps we have another Doakes situation on our hands?
