lol first of all. Detroit gave themselves that name. Listen to sportstalk radio in Detroit. Nobody talks about the Wings. They don't sell out all of their games like the Leafs, Habs, and they are not diehard at all. During the 80's nobody came to their games. Leafs and Habs fans did. It's actually a running joke on the radio that Detroit is hockey town. You could buy 4 tickets to a playoff game easily the day of. I should know because I went even though I'm a Leafs fan. How can a fan base be so "loyal and diehard" when they can't sell out a friggen playoff game?
