I would love to see Drew McIntyre align himself with CM Punk, actually. I know many people would not be with me on that, but all they need to do is exaggerate the truth about their backgrounds training under The Blue Bloods, and perhaps pass McIntyre off as an old training buddy of Punk's.

Roddy Piper could show up on SmackDown! talking about the new Scottish wrestler he's heard about, and McIntyre can call him a drunk, an embarrassment to Scotland, and a man that was never good enough to win the WWE Title -- before beating him down.

But next week, I'd have him actually wrestle R-Truth, and take all Truth's signature offense and looking like a tough customer before a Scissors Kick finally puts him down for the three. R-Truth looks impressed by McIntyre, and raises his hand after the match, before McIntyre attacks Truth from behind, and leaves him laying with a Double-Arm DDT. McIntyre can then win a match against Truth in week three via disqualification, etc.
