And while it did irk me a bit how little press Shea got in its final year, because I personally loved Shea...I can't really argue with the fact that Yankee Stadium had infinitely more history. Shea basically just had the Miracle Mets, the Buckner Ball, the Piazza HR, and 2 straight collapses.
ESPN is even worse with College Sports in their bias since its always just the big schools or namers they cover or try to hype up games and teams like it will be something that never will occur again.
