The LOVE for the face pop and limelight. Hulk Hogan is also another guy who has millions of dollars. Why does an old fart like him continue to wrestle?.....and doesn't just fuck off and die?

Besides - The Rock wouldn't have to 'physically punish himself' and take beatings. With the sheriff role, he could just do what he does best......and talk shit.

Hell - even as Sherrif, The Rock can just cut satellite promos from his home or something. Once or twice a month, he can then show up live.

From a financial standpoint, The Rock doesn't need the WWE. From an ego standpoint however (i.e. the 'limelight' and 'face pop'), it's addicting. Also - being on WWE TV could help him with his movie career (since it keeps him on TV).
