Daniel Murphy finishes up with 12 HR, 63 RBI, and a .266 BA
Honestly, considering how horrible he was for a couple of months, he got extremely hot at the end and was hot at the beginning. Not bad for a first full campaign that featured a position change as well.
I hope Mike Francesa can resist trashing every Mets fan who defends Murph, as he's done all season...going on about how Murph isn't a 1B on a championship team. Murph's numbers are pretty similar to Tino Martinez' first full season...I'd love to hear Mike say he would have benched Tino with those numbers as well.
