There are tons of reports going around online that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's cancer has returned and he is terminally ill. The irony in all of this is that I visited my local Vintage Stock store last night and added the Roddy Piper Story DVD to my collection, not even knowing what was going on with him, then I hear about this today.

The Piper's Pit at Wrestlemania 5 with Piper, Brother Love, and Morton Downey Jr. is one of my all time favorite pieces of wrestling comedy ever.

I also loved his Hall of Fame speech. It was very funny, and emotional too. Seeing Ric Flair laugh uncontrollable and nearly purple in the face from laughter was hilarious.
