Problem is I think there are a lot of people who would say the Yanks are their fav team if they were asked during the season, but they don't actively follow them until the playoffs, which makes you a fraud fan IMO.

I even felt that way in 2006 when the Mets were awesome and in the NLCS...loads of Mets shirts popping up all of a sudden in a predominantly Yankee town. Have no respect for bandwagoners.


I feel the exact way about Red Sox fans. I can't stand those bandwagon fans. I don't mind Red Sox fans at all. It's the people who have never really followed the Red Sox before that piss me off.
