I understand the facts. The point is there is no indication that he's doing this on purpose. There's nothing that says he's trying to scam anyone. All I see here is a guy who's bad with money.
Look at all the stuff he put up as collateral for his first loan. It's pretty easy to get mixed up and forget that something is indebted to someone else.
