On topic: I'm fairly certain CM Punk will win the Superstar of the Year award if they do something like the Slammys again. This year he won the Intercontinental Title in his hometown, making him the fastest man to have won the Triple Crown in history. He also won his second Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which he cashed in successfully to become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion. Then he defeated Jeff Hardy in his own specialty match to win back the title. He also became the first man to "officially" submit The Undertaker.
I can't think of anyone else that deserves the claim, really. Maybe Randy Orton for winning the Royal Rumble as well as winning three WWE Championships. But I could see Punk getting it as a notch on his belt.
