Didn't read the whole thing but I'm going to assume they forgot to mention that the Lakers during Kobe's early years were much stronger than Cavs during Lebron's early years. Instead of Kobe having to do all the work, he got a decent amount of years to develop so once the string of titles ended, Kobe was ready to take over the team.

Compare that to Lebron, who needed to do almost everything on the team. As a result, Lebron had to focus more on individual than team for his play style and was missing a key player or coach to help develop his team style.
