Nahh, I don't feel bad... they knew what they were doing.
1) There will be a lockout.
2) When (if) the NHL comes back, salaries will be down, some players even "desprate" and the Bruins will have free (cap space? if they put in a cap)
3) They got those guys at the end cause they were free agents. Short investment, and he was hoping for a longer playoff run, meaning more ticket sales and since he owns the arena and consessions it's win/win.
