Francesa and Heyman had an interview today, they both predict the Mets will give Molina a 2-year deal for $8 million per season. That would be absolutely ridiculous.

It would be just another instance of the Mets betting against themselves, like with Cora - guarantee the Mets could have had him for $1 million, but of course their first offer is $2 million. Omar's biggest weakness by far is doing a poor job of reading the market and estimating what other teams would be willing to offer to free agents.
