Youtube does seem slower than usual but I noticed that it is much, much, much more slower when you select HD. And even when you click HD I see like almost no difference in quality at all in most of the videos nowadays. Maybe it's the same for you. So if you're trying to watch in HD you are better off with HQ for now.
