The upside to taking the title off Morrison, as you have said, is that it will allow him to move on to bigger and better things. And truthfully, I think Morrison could be one of those "wild cards" in the Royal Rumble that the WWE could hype up as a potential winner. He'd look more like a threat without the anchor of the IC Title, in my opinion.

Morrison could definitely be one of those "Shawn Michaels" type guys who hangs in the Rumble for a long time. Could definitely see him making the final four. I could also easily see Morrison starting off the match with The Miz.
