Yeah not much by way of thoughtful responses. I'm not sure if it is because nobody in this certain group knows or if it's a lack of interest.
I went to a lady friends house & played with one of those combo players for the first time. It was the standard radio/record/cd combo player. Crumbley or someshit. Anyways. It plays fine and has a nice look....But for me the sound was too crisp. I prefer the smell and the sounds of the old speakers when listening to my vinyl. However, I do belive I will venture and get one as my "every day use" record player and slowly rebuild and fix my vintage one. It worked well enough to make me want one but honestly they take away some of the fun.
