Oh I get it now. They gave him the U.S. title, in hopes that he'd magically improve and get prepared for the next level.
Please, he was cool in the beginning, but the novelty's worn off. He's awful in the ring - he doesn't even do a drop kick - and the people only like him because they think he's a good rapper.
