Considering we don't know a whole lot about the game, it's too early to say they're banking only on their physics system.

However, based on that video alone, it appears there will be the ability to create your own team and customize them completely, you will be able to play in 11 vs 11 online football games, and the local multiplayer has SPLIT SCREEN, which is awesome IMO. Hate the fact that everything takes place on one screen in current games. Makes it feel even more like you don't have much control over things.

Now obviously they can't use real NFL stuff, as EA has seen to that. But given what they have to work with, I think this could be real competition for the Madden series. Assuming EA doesn't just try to buy them out.
