How long have you been wathcing wrestling? It's Bokking 101. Punk has had huge success as a heel, and SD's writing team is being smart and using that success to elevate someone else. Same with Orton and Kofi over on Raw.

The worst case scenario is Truth can't get over, and gains zero steam after the fued, which doesn't look likely seeing as he's been more and more over with the live crowds as this fued has gone on. Punk will see the Main Event in due time.
