Over the past 10 years, Bret has taken far more shots at Shawn and Hunter than he has at Vince. If Bret was more pissed off at Owen's death, then he would have taken more shots at Vince.

Also - I highly suspect that a large part of Bret wanting to appear on the January 4th edition of RAW, is so that he could 'stick it' to Hogan (Bret hates Hogan almost as much as he does HBK).
