Odds are, the 60 year old man didn't just
become a paedophile (in most cases). That 60-year old man had to have those urges long before he acted on them, and what's not to say a 19 year old kid getting some 13 year old vagina isn't going to keep going after it even later.

The kid didn't go to prison. He got a little jail time, probation, and was forced to be permanently registered as a sex offender. He deserved it. The punishment was not too severe.
