I skimmed through the album: it basically sounds like Alice in Chains meets Pepper Keenan-era COC. (I have to make that distinction because pre-Pepper Keenan-era is when COC was either Hardcore or Thrash Metal).

That being said, they don't have the soloing talents of either Jerry Cantrell, Pepper Keenan or Woody Weatherman. The singer also doesn't have the smooth lyrical delivery of Pepper (who wrote lines like "Twist of Fate won't give me a Break" or "Theres a Question mark in the place of a spark, that used to be an answer" from "Clean My Wounds" and "Drowning in a Daydream", respectively).

All in all, not bad for a band more or less put together by Sully.
