Yes and the Colts will be in the 17-2 section. I do love how Steve Young looks like a bigger idiot for arguing that the Pats lost to an "inferior" team because they were tired and the Colts chose to rest players to win the SB since 19-0 can't be done... apparently 18-1 isn't that easy to do either.

Furthermore, everybody is saying Peyton choked the game away and don't seem to give the Saints proper credit. But if the teams were reversed, I doubt anybody would say Brees choked. Instead it would be BAH GAWD PEYTON MANNING AND KELVIN HAYDEN LEAD THE COLTS TO VICTORY!!!
Agreed, it's like people who didn't give the Giants credit saying the Pats choked... If you want to see choke, look at Neil O'Donnell's performance... clear obvious bad plays made... not a team beat by another team... give the winning team credit.

I think it didn't help that Freeney got progressively worse off over the course of the game. The Colts didn't get any pressure on Brees. I don't know of any QB in the league that couldn't find the open man when they have all day to throw.
See, Manning is awesome for the same reason he gets crap for mistakes... so did Marino, so did Bledsoe, Elway and to some extent Favre.... These guys have amazing cannon arms, and they can do what few people in the world can in placing the ball to a receiver 30yds down field inbetween 2-3 defenders... that said, it works most of the time, then on the occasion it doesn't everyone forgets about all the times it worked.

I don't even fault him for the INT, the Saints did their homework and actually figured out an audible, rarely does that ever happen to the Colts, the defender read it and jumped the route... it happens once in a great while, it was an amazing play... I'd fault Manning more for the play calling at the end... and yes, I believe Manning calls the plays on the field, and I give him a lot of credit for that.

Congrats to the Saints!
