Almost all shows that start in the Fall are broken up. This is to avoid a dip in ratings in the holiday months and to have their best shows on in the Fall and Spring, the 2 biggest ratings periods. Summer sees a drop as people are....outside and shit and the winter because of the Holidays and the glut of American Sports.
