Last QB from Florida State during their dominance period but ended up waiting too long to go to the NFL since he was about 28 years old by the time he got drafted.

Jack Delhomme
Starts off being a 3rd string QB in the NFL and a decent player in NFL Europe but its not until 2003 when he really shined as a QB leading Panthers to the Superbowl. From 2003 - 2005 he was one of those rising star QBs but ended up declining badly once he got hurt and never was able to match his skills or stats from those good years.
