From a kayfabe standpoint, yes it would make sense but on the whole it makes infinitely more sense to have him cash in after Edge/Jericho earlier in the show
Unless they closed with Edge beating Jericho, and then Edge & Christian could close the show together. Why they would do that I have no idea, but it'd make Christian look like a star, at least. That's sort of what Money in the Bank is meant to do. It just depends what their long term plans are, I guess.
