Sort of ironic that after all the talk of the Coyotes horrible attendance, possible franchise move away from the city, financial problems, horrible yearly records and team management that they end up clinching a good playoff seed this year.

Even more surprising is the team has the 3rd most points in the NHL but has the 4th seed in the West due to San Jose being the division leader.
