yeah, I've heard a few different versions (some on ESPN, who it seems every baseball reporter has a different version).

Word has it, at the last min the Texas owner said "forget the money" player for player and he sox pulled out...

Dunno... I think there's more to it, and I still wouldn't be shocked to see this get done, maybe next week, or near Spring Training.
