I don't know enough to make a full out prediction but at least the Red Sox are trying something different with their lineup. At first I was like "What the fuck?" but I am slowly starting to come around. I mean nobody is going to match up with the Yankees offensively, it's impossible. Might as well try to focus on defense and I think they've done that with their pick-ups. I don't understand the defensive statistics at all but I've heard a ton of things about Beltre and Cameron being among the league leaders the last few years at their positions in "saving runs" - however they figure that out?
Scutaro is just keeping the seat warm for 1 year until this young player they have done in the minors is ready to go. From what I am hearing he is finally suppose to the be the answer at SS after the revolving door that's been there since Nomar was traded. I thought Jed Lowrie was gonna be "that guy" but I guess not.
Glad to see Ellsbury changed his number to 2, way more swag than 46. I am a big number-in-relation-to-swag guy
