Anyway, online gaming on consoles is usually completly overrated. I don't know why games developers advertise it so much as the majority of people either can't use it, or don't care.
I've already commented on the kiddie bit. It does seriously affect their sales.

However, I think it's a little sortsighted to dismiss online capabilities.
