I decided to put Kurt Angle against four Japanese wrestlers that have the same Olympic wrestling background.

Inside the parenthesis next to the wrestlers is the year each wrestler participated at the particular Summer Olympics.

Kurt Angle ('96) vs. Hiroshi Hase ('84)
Kurt Angle ('96) vs. Manabu Nakanishi ('92)
Kurt Angle ('96) vs. Jumbo Tsuruta ('72)
Kurt Angle ('96) vs. Yoshiaki Yatsu ('76)
