That's fine and all, but that just seems a bit...boring. If they're not exploiting it, then what's the point, really?

Also, think about the wrestling fans of today. A lot of them are children and probably aren't even really sure what it is to be gay. If they do, they're probably grossed out by it. Also, I dobut a lot of parents would be cool with a character like that being portrayed for their children. Maybe this would have been OK in the Attitude Era, but it doesn't seem like a move they would make today.
