3. The Cesar Gracie camp had no business doing ganging up on one fighter. That's on the Cesar Gracie camp.

Of course, Strikeforce isn't going to own up to their own mistake. They're not gonna blame the Gracie camp, which is home to their Welterweight, Lightweight, AND Middleweight Champion. So, they throw Mayhem under the bus. It's not all on him, but he shouldn't have been in Shields' face.

Side Note: If the Gracie Camp thinks that Mayhem was being a disrespectful prick by stealing Shields' thunder, I have one name for them: KJ Noons.
Strikeforce actually brought Nick Diaz into the cage for that confrontation after KJ fought Yves Edwards. Diaz didn't just wander into the cage, they invited him in so they could hype Diaz/Noons 2...

Obviously what the Diaz' did wasn't right but they cut away so fast I didn't hear what else Mayhem said. He said something after "I want my rematch." He said something to Melendez who was trying to get Miller out of there. Whatever Miller said at that point will determine how much the Caesar Gracie team overracted.

If I were to guess they overracted a lot.
