Wrestlers & Drugs: Blame the "business"?

I read the article about Luther Reigns and his stroke and it's got me wondering if it's really the nature of the business that makes these guys pop pills and take steroids or does the business attract guys who are likely to do those things anyways?

It seems to me that some of the biggest tragedies in wrestling (Pillman, Eddie) and guys we worry for (Hardy, Jake, Hall) were/ are people already a little crazy or off beat or had personal struggles growing up that would make them do those things.

What do you guys think?
