Because there hasn't been an interest in online gaming since the days of the NES, people weren't creaming themselves over rumours of online gaming forprevious systems, and network/online gaming hasn't had a pretty big following.

It's pretty mainstream.

You notice there's more interest in it than most of the specialty deals, like the guncons and such?
