Watching the "Worst Movie Ever Made" in HD

Heaven's Gate

Im assuming its the director's cut which is 3 hours and 40 minutes long. I had never heard of it before I stumbled upon it about an hour ago (1/2 hour into it). I can't say its the worst movie Ive ever seen, but to be honest its just kinda boring though it looks nice in HD. Maybe in 1980 it would qualify as the worst movie ever made but now I can think of a couple more that would be better picks.

But seriously, I am amazed at this cast (from 1980)
Jeff Bridges and Mickey Rourke! The bald guy from Lost! Jack McCoy from Law and Order! Christopher Walken!

Anyway..Im willing to bet a similar movie made today would do a lot better at the box office and would probably get a lot of love come Oscar time.
